At Sweet Dreams Nanny Co., we specialize in age-appropriate babysitting adventures designed especially for babies and toddlers — including our July Red, White & Sensory experience!

Easy DIY 4th of July Crafts for Babies & Toddlers

Want to try some festive fun at home? Here are 3 simple, low-mess ideas you can do with your little one:

1. Fruit Skewer Stars 🍓

Use mini cookie cutters to cut watermelon and cantaloupe into star shapes. Slide onto baby-safe popsicle sticks with blueberries for a red-white-blue snack they’ll love to hold and taste.

2. Glow-in-the-Dark Popsicle Wands ✨

Take jumbo craft sticks, wrap with glow-in-the-dark tape or stickers, and attach soft ribbons at the top. Toddlers can wave them during backyard celebrations — no sparklers needed!

3. Handprint Fireworks 🎨

Use baby-safe paint and stamp little handprints on black construction paper. Add dots of glitter glue or foil stars to make it sparkle like a firework.
